Greek Archaic Votive Head, Second Half 6th Century BC

Sizeable terracotta with sculpturally marked features.

The head is showing almond-shaped eyes and an appealing archaic smile.

The hair is covered with a band, a stephane and a veil fall laterally behind the ears which are adorned with big earrings.

Broken below the chin. Tip of the nose and chin with minor wear.
