Egyptian Shabti of Mer-Neith-ites, 27th-30th Dynasty, around 525-362 BC

Green faience shabti with three hand-carved lines of hieroglyphs reading: 'Words spoken by the Osiris Mer-Neith-ites, daughter of Sema-taui-irdisu, born to Ta-nedjed'.

Very fine with nicely shaped hieroglyphs and delicate modeling. Broken at the waist level and reattached. Lips slightly damaged.
