Terracotta Head of a Satyr, Hellenistic Period, 2nd Century BC

Youthful satyr with bulged eyebrows, wide open eyes and bare teeth.

The rounded forehead adorned with ivy flowers.

The head orientates on Hellenistic types and is most likely from Egypt.

Broken below the chin, back side missing. Vivid modeling.
