Costa Rican Chocolate Pot, Late Period, 1-500 AD

Atlantic watershed tripod with solid legs. A faint bulge between the slightly flared rim and the bulbous body.

The legs are topped by stylized reptile-like figures.

Excellent condition. One leg reattached. Two minor chips out of the rim restored. Surface covered with dendrite-like black soil deposits.
