Daunian Bichrome Olla, Subgeometric II, 550-400 BC

Appealing olla with bichrome desing, the main frieze with a group of four black diagonal lines alternating with a single red one.

The vase shows a tapered bulbous body and short funnel type rim. Two heavy handles on the rounded shoulder.

Intact. Cream ground worn at rear with the original reddish ceramic coming to the fore.
