Egyptian Terracotta Head of a Isis, 2nd/3rd Century AD

Nice head of Isis showing chubby features, wide open eyes, prominent cheeks and purse lips.

The broad face is framed by carefully rendered curls growing longer down the neck. The hairdo is topped by an enormous stippled floral wreath.

Broken below the neck, missing rear with several fingerprints. Fine modeling.
