Greek Black-glazed Squat Lekythos, 420-400 BC

Attic or Atticizing South Italian lekythos of rounded body covered all over with brilliant black glaze.

Just below the shoulder a reserved band with a running-dog pattern inside.

Excellent quality and condition. Brilliant black glaze with minor pitting in places.
