Thin-walled Gnathia Ware Skyphos, Apulia, ca. 320 BC

Pristine skyphos decorated with three flowers framed by vertical ivy lines. Above a white egg band, alternating gold and red strips and a white spiral wave pattern.

Behind a rosette between hanging leaf-sprays. Along the rim tongues and dots separated by a couple of incised lines.

Intact and of pristine quality. Minor wear on the applied colors.
