Early to Middle Corinthian Aryballos with Lotus-Palmette Cross, circa 600 BC

Globular vessel with a linearly rendered lotus-palmette cross showing a profusion of leaves and petals.

The vertically arranged lotus flowers with crosshatched calyxes. Details in added red.

Faded rosette on the mouth, tiny dots on the outside rim, five vertical lines along the strap handle and a small encircled cross below.

Intact and of fine quality. Surface slightly worn in places. A tiny hole on the depression of the bottom.
