Stone
relief fragment showing a sitting youth with elaborate hairdo and pleasant
features.
The boy is looking upwards, his upper body leaning back a bit. The
outstretched right arm is placed on the leg which rests on the ground, the
other arm embraces the raised left knee.
Canonical stance known from Greek figures like Eros or Atlas, often
shown squatting on lower registers of Gandhara votive stupas.
Fragmentary, fine carving. The upright leg and the resting arm partially
missing.
