Gnathia Ware Mastoid Cup, Northern Apulia, ca. 270 BC

Thin-walled cup of pointed mastoid shape. The base rendered with three tiny shells.

The inside decorated with fine white lines enclosing two red bands. The decoration is characteristic for late Canosan Gnathia ware.

Intact and of fine condition. Thin-walled. Minor pitting and wear in places.
