Attic Kylix of the Inset Lip Class, 480-470 BC

Black-glazed kylix of shallow curved bowl with a broad inset lip, slightly concave on the outside.

The cup is standing on a thick spreading ring foot.

Dense black glaze, concentric circles and thin red wash on the reserved bottom.

One handle reattached, otherwise intact and fine. Brilliant black glaze, left handle partially peeled off.
