Eastern Mediterranean Blue Pot, Hellenistic Period, 300-100 BC

Large pot of shallow rounded floor and inward raised wall, a couple of small strap handles attached just below the flat rim.

Part of the outside enhanced with blue color to give the vase a metallic appearance. Bottom and inside reserved.

The shape is known from the Levant.

Intact. Surface and applied color partially worn.
