Attic Ribbed Mug, 5th Century BC

Rare black-glaze mug with seven evenly spaced ribs encircling the exterior. A loop handle set vertically just below the rim.

Covered with dense black glaze; a reserved area on the base.

Provably inspired by mugs made in metal.

Intact and of pristine quality.
