Anatolian Bellied Jug, Yortan Culture, ca. 2700-2500 BC

Burnished vessel of broad bellied form with rounded shoulder showing a couple of bosses that suggest nipples and are surrounded by impressed white points.

The high narrow neck curving out at rim, the wide mouth slightly higher on one side. A strap handle linking rim to shoulder

Several groups of faint white lines running down the body.

Intact. The burnished surface partially worn.
