Achaemenid Bronze Lotus Bowl, 5th Century BC

Shallow bronze bowl with gently flared rim, the outside decorated with a repoussed and incised lotus flower pattern.

Fine condition. Slightly bent perimeter and crack on the rim. Attractive blue-green patina and soil deposits over the originally silvered surface.
