bowl of rounded body and short flat rim.
For an inscribed example of identical shape formerly in the Campana
collection, now in the Louvre (Inv. Cp 3414) cf.: Die Etrusker in Europa,
Exhibition catalogue, p. 132, lot no. 118.
Impasto pottery shows a warm brown color and was the forerunner of the
Etruscan black Bucchero ceramic.
Fine quality with highly polished surface. Small shard out of the
trumpet-shaped foot restored, foot reattached. Soil and sinter deposits in
places.
