Egyptian Fragmentary Shabti of Wahibre-Akhbit, Late Period, 664-332 BC

Pale green faience shabti fragment owned by Wahibre-Akhbit, who is entitled as Hem-priest of a deity, institution or location to be elicited.

The name of his mother can be read as Tjes-ru-kheb-Iaret.

The mummiform figure with crossed hands holding implements over the chest.

Five lines of finely carved hieroglyphs of the shabti spell preserved.

The owner bears a so called basilophore name that starts with Wahibre, the throne name of Psamtik I, founder of the 26th dynasty.

Fragmentary, broken above the hands and at the knee level. Interesting subject for study.
