Enthroned Boeotian Terracotta Goddess, 5th Century BC

The diademed goddess seats on a block-shaped throne and wears a heavy cloak drawn over her head. Her hands rest on her knees; the feet are placed together.

Fine condition. Minor spalling on the surface. Encrusted with sinter deposits. Remains of white pigment.
