Votive Head of a Boy, Etruscan, Late 4th Century BC

Terracotta head with softly modeled features. The face shows prominent eyebrows, a full nose and fleshy lips. The hair is combed.

Broken at the neck with one missing shard out of the shoulder. Some crazes on the bridge of the nose and on the forehead denote how the clay was pressed into the mold. Remains of the original red color.
