Hellenistic Megarian Bowl with Floral Design, Asia Minor, 1st Century BC

Rare moldmade Megarian bowl with floral motifs and vertical handles.

The rounded bowl decorated in relief with a wreath of leaves, stamens and berries. Above them a row of flowers.

The twin handles are set on the flat lip. One of them belongs to a different vessel.

The bowl with different relief lines and bands. Standing on a rounded base.

Fine condition. Reconstituted from two fragments, handle restored.
