Greek Terracotta Votive Bull, Hellenistic Period, 2nd-1st Century BC

Greek figure of a bull with raised head, pointed horns and barely indicated ears.

The weighty body with a heavy dewlap, a pronounced dorsal line and a hinted tail; standing on four legs.

The hollow figure made of two halves.

One horn restored, otherwise intact and fine. Remains of the original polychromy.
