Greek Alabastron, ex H.A. Cahn, 5th Century BC

Greek perfume vessel of cylindrical body tapering at the neck with flat everted rim and a faint ridge around the shoulder.

Small depression below the rounded base; polished surface with remains of red pigment.

Rim worn and in part reattached, small section missing. Slight traces of red paint.

H 9.6 cm (3.8 in)
