Print of the ruins of the Mayan city of Uxmal in Yucatan, Mexico.

The general views were designed by Jean Arnould Leveil (1806-1866) and engraved by Jean Baptiste Marie Bury and Joseph Durond.

The print was edited as first of twelve depictions of the ruins of Uxmal in the appendix of volume 4 in: Jules Gailhabaud. Monuments anciens et modernes: Collection formant une histoire de l'architecture des différents peuples à toutes les époques. Paris 1853.
